Community Infrastructure Development Intern

 

Goals:
-Improve sidewalks, crosswalks, plant trees, and other essential neighborhood pedestrian friendly infrastructure.

Tasks:
-Research incentives to improve public infrastructure for 31st & Cherry
-Reach out to neighborhood associations and economic development entities to see what plans are already in place
-Reach out to neighboring building owners and business owners to coordinate efforts
-Reach out to city offials, governments, and non-govermental organizations if necessary
-Explore and coordinate PIAC efforts

Experience and/or motivation to:
-Implement economic development projects
-Follow through
-Using SketchUp for design
